"Synthesis of 2-exo- and 2-endo-mecamylamine analogs. Structure-activity relationships for nicotinic antagonism in the central nervous system" J. Med. Chem., 1991, 34 (3), pp 1003–1010

Of interest to nobody but myself, possibly. Any help appreciated.

I am interested....going to read now.....I did not know we could post articles....I found an awesome Catecholamine's article last night....

I posted the above link because it is an pharmaceutical evaluation and in the one you had posted it said there had been no studies with a ?(its in your post in the second paragraph after the abstract..It is the last 3-4 sentences)..............

Hi Kayla. Yeah, same authors and they probably wrote both articles at around the same time. I'm interested in the SAR data on the analogs because even though mecamylamine has been around for over half a century, the S-2-endo isomer is likely to be promoted as an antidepressant in the next few years. My library account at the University of the 3rd World doesn't give me electronic access to the article.

Technically, I posted an article dealing with synthesis. If this offends the local rules please immediately delete my post.

Cheers! - Murphy
