Not sure where this post should go as it might actually be 'cosmetic' in some ways but with hot weather approaching I think it may prove valuable in a couple of ways. I occasionally enjoy IVing, and above all, take all cleanliness precautions and follow all harm reduction guidelines every single time you do this, and take this advice seriously! That being said, I have found through trial and error that cleansing the injection site with rubbing alcohol and a clean cotton ball and liberally applying Arnica gel or cream as soon as possible after helps my bruising a great deal. =D I use a natural, homeopathic Arnica gel. On the label it says it helps, pain, swelling, stiffness and bruising, and for me, it really does. if I still do bruise it's not as dark and the duration of the bruising is not as long. It's nice to be able to wear short sleeves in the Spring / Summer, socially and for work and I wanted to share this information in hopes that it may help others too. It can often help shorten the duration of a bruise that has already formed.
I am NOT in any way suggesting this treatment if you suspect a missed shot or abscess as they are situations you should seek professional advice for!

Arnica Montana many have medicinal properties as an herb, but not when administered as a homeopathic remedy. Homeopathy dictates a direct relationship between dilution and strength, which is the definition of counterintuitive. It has also been proven false.
