Heroin Arm is F-ed up, need help!!!!

I started shooting up about 6 months ago, well my veins are really small and all the ones I shot up in don't work any more, so I started muscling it in my shoulders (about 3 or 4 months ago). My upper arms were rock hard, now there are a couple of spots that have softened up, and when I touch either one of the spots, there is a sloshing sound and it sounds like there is are little air bubbles in there with fluid... I don't know what to do, or if this is a normal healing process! Are there other places to shoot up?

I would really actually like to get off the stuff, but I am a pansy when I start to get sick!!! I tried taking a suboxone yesterday, and I got sicker than a dog... Any recommendations on how to get off w/out getting sick?

One last thing I am worried about is air bubbles in my veins... Is there any way to get checked and see if you have any or how does that whole ordeal work?

Please, I need answers... I'm tripping out!!!

Never I repeat never IM steet drugs or pills. You might have an abcess does it hurt when you touch it? I had a couple veins harden from IV use and never had an abcess. Your probobly took the suboxone to early and got precipated wd's you have to wait atleast 24 hours before dosing bupe. Apply some neosporin and a hot compress if it gets any worse or start's to hurt go to the ER. IM'ing anything but pharmacutical ampules is the worst thing you can do it has alot of impurites and possibly bacteria just practice IV'ing look at some guides here if you can't IV just stop using needles and start snorting.

if you think its that bad and are really worried, go to the hospital. if you think theres air bubbles in your veins or something like that, then yes, no one on here can really do anything and would reccomend you seek help from a hospital.

Like danky said, IMing street drugs or pills is a huge NO NO. Only pharmaceutical grade sterile ampules and possibly extremely well micron filtered solutions should be IM'd. Street heroin is cut with who knows what, and is not sterile by a long shot.

There is a very good chance you have developed some kind of abscess from this extremely unhealthy practice. Do not, I repeat DO NOT inject any more heroin into your muscles. The risk of an infection/abscess is extrememly high and it seems as if you already breached that point.

But since we are not doctors and cannot even see you in real life, there is no way for us to accurately diagnose your problem. The only definitive thing we can tell you, is to go to the hospital!

Do not worry about being labeled a "junky". Also, do not let the potential cost of going to the hospital deter you. They have payment plans and sometimes even offer charity care, where the state basically covers your entire bill for free.

It is imperative that you get this checked out by medical professionals. Leaving abscesses un-treated can potentially lead to serious infections and gangrene, and at worst amputation. I am not trying to scare you, but this is honestly the reality of your situation.

Now, please, PLEASE go to the hospital and get this checked out. Also, before you continue to shoot any more heroin please check out the myriads of threads we have about IV drug use safety.

Also in regards to suboxone, we have a number of threads about this as well which can tell you everything you need to know. If you took some and got sicker, then there is agood chance you induced precipitated withdrawals, which is what happens if you do not wait long enough after your last dose of opiates to dose suboxone. You must wait until you are in moderate withdrawals to take suboxone, usually 12-24 hours at the least.
