Are ramen noodles bad for you?

i noticed a while ago while reading the nutritional information on a pack of ramen noodles that it's supposed to be two servings. who eats half a package of ramen?

If thats true than that means all that salt and fat is actually doubled! Ick

There's absolutely no use for digestible carbohydrates in omnivores or carnivores diets', rm-rf. Your body can use lipids and protein for glucose metabolism just fine, and prefers it that way.

The entire concept of a 'treat' or 'snack' is fallacious. There's no reason to eat any junk food at all.

I agree in full.

However, why do you see so many candy bars in front of a register at the supermarket?

My body also doesnt 'need' MDMA, but I love to eat it anyways. Other people get their kicks with retarded crap like junk food or prime time TV.

I myself, as an engineer, abide by a universe of logic. Most people dont. Hence, to say "there is no reason to eat junk food" is fallacious.

they sure as hell aren't good for you,

if you spend to much of your money on drugs then I'd consider owning a garden, it will pay off in the long run and you get healthy (and what I consider tasty) food

Oops, I left out "healthy" or "good" before "reason".

MDMA has nearly universally recognized objective positive recreational and medical effects. Everyone understands why an emotional opening like that helps people in social situations, and psychoanalysis, etc.

The taste sense, on the other hand, is almost entirely a learned phenomenon. You enjoy foods not because they're objectively tasty, but because you've taught yourself to enjoy them. You can enjoy the taste of carrots as much as candy bars if you want.

I just ate 2x ramen noodles (beef). They better not be bad for ya!

A lot of the instant noodles are made of partially hydrogenated oil. The snack pack is full of salt, MSG, etc. There are some "good" ones that are less bad, particularly Japanese/Korean brands.

Jam, as poverty levels rise, noodle consumption around here is also on the rise. It has gotten extensive coverage on television news, and is thought to be a factor in rising high blood pressure among the poor. Just looking at the ingredients, it's really a bunch of crap, devoid of nutrition unless they fortify it with Vitamin A or something in a feeble attempt to pacify the health department.

If you must eat them, just put a lot of chopped vegetables. It's not gonna kill you, but daily consumption is probably for the worse.
