It appears we might get hit by a big hurricane this weekend and I had to go over my check list of essentials and they were make sure rx are filled check, call my weed dealer check, load up on some wine check. Oh and can't forget bottled water for wife and kids(lol) check!
What would your list of priorities be in case of natural disaster?

%) Ride it out at your house! Just kidding, but I DO wish I had access to MMJ for pain and depression, though not tropical!

Stay safe, my brotha. Katrina hit us hard even in central MS, taking down 22 HUGE pine trees and causing sustained power outages and property damage. Coastal folks should always heed warnings, and Katrina taught us inlanders to do the same.

I don't like the dark silence, so batteries or better yet, generator...and supply of gasoline. Candles or lanterns are a must. PB&J, bread, fruit, snacks. In my case, dog food (no kids). Our "daughter" is a big beautiful Dalmatian who loves to eat. If you have the generator to keep appliances running, stock up on ice for beverages and milk for the kids.

Oh, and um...no matter the disaster, some local distilled Apple Pie Moonshine is always a MUST.

Excellent. A quart mason jar shows up monthly on my husband's desk. He brings it home to me for "medicinal purposes" when all else fails!

Funny that besides sipping, it is FABULOUS in sauces and baking! YUM.

Bless his heart...We've been married for 35 years. He'd do anything to ease some of my pain. He "acquired" some weed for me to smoke a couple of weeks ago (first time ever). It made me silly, much like alcohol. I want to try the THC:CBD elixers, but alas...I live in MS!

Batten down the hatches and stay safe!

I'm with you namnoc. If I didn't have my supply of benzos there would be an incredibly paranoid and angry person roaming the streets during the hurricane.

Short disaster: beer
Long disaster: weed and pods

Water and food (meat, cheese) a given
