the words are jagged shapes
the words are smoothed by strange eyes
and take no particular form
the words are flightless birds resting forever on wires in constant fear of falling
the words are lines of wounded men retreating
the words are several veils masks and sheets pulled over the truth
the words are stones stacked carefully in concrete
the words are loose change
splintered beaks of flocks of wrens
the words are a hundred umbrellas blown apart
the words are the teeth of impossible creatures
the words are streets and buildings and lamps with burnt bulbs
the words are seperate paintings fixed to a page
the words are hidden iron girders holding skylines to the sky
the words can be identified like fingerprints
the words are ties between two hearts
the words stand straight in books never growing faint
the words assimilate into lines and become language.
my interest in words as objects and as architecture far outwieghs my interest in their meaning,
i have imagined entire cities built of words alone, and whole armies of words have came and burned them down.

thats simply stuperbelous *clap*clap*clap*
