I'm currently in my 3rd year of studying Chemistry; year 4 is my placement year and finding the placement is down to me.
My main interests are organic synth & the pharmacological aspects of chemistry.
I've found a placement that I'm in the middle of applying to but my main question is: would it be foolish to state my interest in the works of Shulgin? I don't want them to get the wrong impression of me, obviously.
I suppose if I do end up mentioning him, I'd probably have to have a pretty good reason for having such an interest.
Any thoughts?
