So I have seen all these articles talking about black tar heroin as being sticky/oily. In my experience, the purest tar I get is never like this. In fact, it is more like rock hard obsedian chunks in random shapes coupled with some lightish brown powder. Truthfully, looks like they cooked it into a giant obsidian chunk and then smashed it up with a hammer to piece it out. My guy claims that its untouched all the way from Durango from what I understand in my broken spanish(he speaks about 2 words of english). I tend to believe its possible, as he wont sell less than a ounce usually and occasionally he will get some S. American china which is 2x the price and not really stronger if the tar is the best quality. What makes me have doubts is that sometimes the quality is a bit lower, still good, but not amazing. That can maybe be attributed to the cooking process.
I will note that I have had a dealer who sold gram quantities from Nayarit, Pretty sure he was an independent operator with several drivers, but he had sticky shit, never powdery and it was close to the quality of the durango shit. Makes me think they might process it different.
*Note - If you don't live within 150 miles of the border, chances are you think tar is crap. In California, I rarely have seen anything I would touch north of LA County. Even west, to Ventura county it already turns to crap, stomped on to shit(actually I think this is a transshippment point for the central coast as the price/oz drops about 300% and the quality about 500%. By the time u hit SF, I am not sure if there is any active ingredient in it. Up there, I will only touch pills...to quantify strength so east coast people can get an idea.... the last time I did Oxy, I did 300MG through the day(orally, 300mg the day before nasally wasnt enough). It barely kept me well, about the same as .3 of smoked tar or .2 of slammed.
