Opioids Anyone take oxycodone while on zpak?

Recently I have learned that zpak antibiotics effect qt interval in the heart and I know that oxycodone does the same dose dependently. Is it safe to take oxy while on zpak? Last dose of zpak was about 42 hours ago and have not had any oxy since starting it. Does anyone have any experience taking the 2 at the same time?
 
Yep I had a bronchial infection a couple years ago and took a zpak (Azithromycin) and was on methadone at the time (and took oxycodone, I believed it was prescribed at the urgent care. 5mg roxi generic).
 
Thanks for the reply cwake18 I really appreciate it! The heart is one thing I am very anxious about and after reaxing about all that qt interval dangers associated with azithromycin I got kinda freaked and stopped taking my medicine so that I could use the antibiotics but I decided to take one today since ive been off the zpak for almost 48 hours now. I know in the future I am just going to avoid this kind of antibiotics.
 
Zpak is a great antibiotic man. Make sure you've taken them all, never stop antibiotics prematurely.

You don't have to avoid them. It was a lifesaver when I was that sick man.
