Anyone know a passable Tussionex imposter?

Someone in my family was prescribed Tussionex syrup a few months ago to help a severe cough caused by pneumonia. The person is the non-drug abusing type and is long since done with the cough syrup. There is about a half bottle left and I'm thinking of taking some of this hydrocodone gold mine. :) If one were to take a few teaspoons of this syrup, does anyone know of a good substance to put back in the bottle so it doesn't look like it's been touched? I need a decent orange-ish looking cough syrup that kind of resembles real Tussionex in appearance/consistency. If anyone knows, I'd be appreciative :)
 
If I were you I would just take some unless you're family is known to measure what they have left (which in most cases they probably won't even remember it being in there). If they will catch you, or if there is even a slight chance, I would most likely put Robitussin Honey Cough in it because Honey Cough is yellow and thick, thicker than tussionex but I seriously doubt they would notice unless it separated. Shake it up well to blend it and if it starts to separate after a few days then shake it up again. I've watered down cough syrup before and it really isn't very evident so if you feel like being "hardcore" and "on the edge" you can always just do that.

DELSYM! It's an extended release DXM syrup, with the same consistincy, and somewhat the same taste and flavor. I think that it may even be made byt the same company.
