I need to find an outpatient, for my situation. Anyone in California or the US, or San Diego know of a good free or near free outpatient program or a good website? I have been looking on the net, and it keeps going to the most expensive rehabs in Orange County or Betty fucking Ford shit. I am not a very well off person so its pissing me off that these fuckers charge so much to make yiour life better. I could just stick with NA, but its not really my style. Too religiousy, maybe if there was a higher power, he shouldn't have killed my friends at a yoiung age that didn't deserve to die, I dont know, rambling now. I never really got the god thing, dont know why we everything in this country is all Godly. I could use some help, so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks

kooter,
i'm with you on the god nonsense . i don't know diego but there has to be the equivalent to a county run human services department . something is in place for sure as the courts will send DUIs to county run counseling and treatment . it is always on a sliding scale .

i have no faith in the recovery rackets . we get ourselves addicted and we get ourselves straight. i found that a trusted family member, a trusted friend was all the help that i needed when kicking the turkey method . and that was more than once for oil burning habits .

good luck getting shut of your monkey .

thanks, was just getting frustrated with the searches, even with free in them, coming up with sites that say, "for the low price of $2000 a month your loved ones will get spa treatment and bjs by the beach..... yadda yadda yadda" So thanks for the replies.

If you have health insurance, ask them for a recommendation. If you don't, then sign up for your county's health care services at your local hospital.

no money, no insurance

Lifering looked good, closest meeting is in Orange County though, and got no car now, plus thats like over an hour drive. Thanks for that link.
