Anyone Have Successful/Positive results with Lamotrigine? (for MDD)

Within the last month my psychiatrist started me on lamotrigine (25mg then to 50mg, now i will be at 100 in a few weeks), mostly because I've burned through all of the SSRIs ive been offered within the last 5 months. I'm feeling doubtful about this drug but i think its just because of my years of experiencing treatment failure for MDD and other disorders.
I'm also on 200mg Seroquel but for sleep.. I don't think that'd do much but might be important to note either way
