Benzos Anyone else notice the effects of benzo's on mouth and throat?

Do you personally get GI side effects? If so, what kind of GI effects do you get from benzodiazepines?

There is a calming effect on the GI tract from benzo use. This is why drugs like chlordiazepoxide are used for IBS. I think the calming isn't probably too noticeable for most until they experience withdrawal and the lack of calm that comes with it.

I know when I take xanax or ambien before bedtime, my boyfriend says I snore. How embarrassing. Girls are not supposed to snore. i wish he never told me, because now when we spend a night together, I do not take my meds, so am up all nigh. I am so embarrassed.....

Yea benzos definitely give munchies and make food go down smooth. As far as the vision i agree things do look nicer to look at. But i disagree on how stimulants make your vision worse while on them. When on meth i remember things looking very detailed and colors looking more pure and natural. On ecstacy things get blurry at times but colors still stand out a bunch when you focus.

Interesting, I have my share of GI problems and didn't know that benzodiazepines were of any use for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

^ I have just after a heavy binge on benzos, thankfully I have never been dependent. Also I can drink beer/ strong drinks/ shots while on benzos much easier. It's like a larger ammnt of liquid goes down my throat at one time, and it doesn't hurt/burn so bad. It's an odd effect I never though about before haha.
