Alcohol Anyone drink homebrewed beer?

One of my family members is making a herbal homebrewed beer like they used to make in medieval times. I don't believe he's using hops.
I don't know what percent alcohol it is going to be, probably 6%.
 
Just be careful. It's very easy to mess up the process with homebrewing and create something nasty, or even deadly.
 
One of my friends has been homebrewing for a few years now, and has gotten pretty good at it (has made just about every kind of beer imaginable to date and has done it well), but as I recall, there was a period of serious trial and error and much waste at the beginning.

Whatever your friend does, it will be wise to study the many facets of brewing beer in advance and not to use a single source for information, but rather to absorb the info from multiple sources as a prophylactic against error/misinformation (which could lead to poisoning in extreme cases).
