anyone collect stems?

thats my point it isnt about whether you have plenty more good stuff it is about not wastin anything b/c throughout our daily lives we waste so much else n it is good not to be wastfull, giant stash of weed or not. i am also reffering to things aside from weed obviously too

Hey you should look into using a triple refined butane. RONSON brand butane has sulphur or something like that added for safety reasons. If it leaks in a warehouse you'll be able to smell it. Know what im sayin?

Look for Collibri, if you cant find that, look for something "triple refined" cigar butane.

yep I hear you, guess I'm just lazy, look at it this way, you know when you go in a shop and buy something and there is just a little change ? Well I always shove it in the charity box, also you eat food and rarely finish the whole lot off, the rest goes on the compost or the bin, waste is fair enough really, lke I said earlier if you had enough buds to last you till the next buds were ready you would end up chcuking some of what you had, in this case the stems, I always keep my trim, and I use a crystal catcher grinder also, so I like some of the leftovers just not the whole lot. I'm gonna keep my stems and pass them on in future, it's just I have no use for them personally if they were loaded with thc then yeah i'd keep em but they ain't.
 
no thats not right at all but i see what your saying.

i think you mean waste not want not.
 
There is some THC in stems, and also in leaves and such, why throw them out? Save up until you have a lot of them and make an extract product or use it for cooking.

i always save my stems. i figure why not. there is still usually small chunks stuck to the stems, so last time i saved up i had just under an ounce (actually posted it on a forum as a joke saying i just started smoking and it was mmy first pickup and did i get ripped off, of course people went ballistic on me not realizing i was trolling lol). made some qwiso and was happy with the results. no use wasting anything when i dont really smoke much anymore. a little goes a long way.

Never ever ever ever forget to add your acid. Cannabidiol is produced by weed in far higher quantities then THC. My method of hash oil is to acidify methanol with 100ul of 10m hcl and then extract your left overs. This ensures that all your CBD goes to THC (there structural isomers and small ammount of acid make happy).

The only way ive ever managed to make white hash oil was to extract with ACN, (defat) then methanol (Thc and CBD are relatively insoluble in acetonitrile).

Whats really really really awesome is that im finding that many hemp products that have the thc removed via chromatography havent removed the cannabidiol. See happy?
