Anybody else here identify as Asexual?

^^opiates do kill sex drive but as u mentioned, u didnt have a sex drive before..look around on asexual forums, there are many different types of asexuals, furthering the confusion..lol..do you have any kinks or other acts beside people that get you aroused?many asexuals masturbate but do it to some kink they have..most people masturbate to some aspect of sex, asexuals dont..

its hard to think of asexuality as not being some sort of disorder or dysfunction as it disrupts the flow of things..mainly it gets in the way of men pursuing women because lets face it, the main reason they do it is due to their sex drive..without that, there is no reason to pursue relationships..forgive me if this doesnt make sense, im tired this morning..

I am in a sexual relationship and have been for 2 and a half years with my partner. Both of us enjoy having sex with one another but in the time we have been together, we have realised that we can go months without needing to do the deed. We experience intimacy in other ways. We both discussed sexual needs and desires quite early on and I was honest with him and said I don't need it 3 times a day, 7 days a week. He told me he was the same. We have had times where one of us wants it and the other doesn't and it was quite awkward to begin with, especially in a new relationship. Luckily we fell into sync quite quickly and now we both want and/or need it around the same time.

Having a low or no sex drive doesn't necessarily mean you are asexual. It means you have a low or no sex drive. The definition of intimacy is not intercourse. Everyone is different. BEsides, why do you need a label?
