Feel free to move if need be and I also apologize if this has been covered, I'm using my phone and the search isn't working right. also I'm still really up so I hope this is readable.

Long story short, I'm alone in a hotel room, so I don't sound like a crazy fiend, it's because I got this room simply cause this girl could not wait to fuck lol, well she had some amph. Powder. She's awesome girl haha well she shared. I have this lame permanent retainer behind my bottom teeth. When I first started my days of experimenting with chemicals 5 years or so ago. I had a horrible habit of constantly licking this thing till my entire tounge would be beyond raw. Since then I've learned how to Catch myself and be aware of it. Well turns out I ended up fucking this girl for four hours haha and didn't think once about my habit. Well now shes back at her house and I'm here with a really fucked up mouth worse than ever haha. Sex can distract you from anything. The slightest movement hurt and focus on not moving my tounge around my mouth isnt cutting it neither are smoking cigs or herb. I dont have any gum or food to help.

Does anyone have some tips on how to help me stop moving my tounge around and making it worse. And if there is nothing I can do but wait till I come down?

And for tomorrow is there anyway to speed up my recovery? This is pretty annoying and painful. I got class tomorrow and would like to make this go away as fast as possible. Every movement of my tounge is making it more raw.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks : )

I used to chew my mouth and tongue up a lot. I found the best thing was a combination of ibuprofen (Nurofen) to help take down any swelling, APAP for the pain and sore throat lozenges that are supposed to numb sore throats - you can use them to numb your mouth instead.

I don't have any advice about retainers I'm afraid.. for future reference, some people find magnesium helps them to control the jaw-clenching etc but you have to take quite a lot (can't remember how much I used to take, sorry..)

I've edited your title to make it more obvious what you are asking for help with!

edit: just saw you were stuck in a hotel room. Hm. Well, mouthwash might do your mouth some good, make sure it doesn't get infected and might numb it a little, but it will also hurt like hell and could irritate it more so on balance would say not while things are so fresh. Can't really think of anything else useful until you can get to a shop and get some painkillers and throat sweets.. Maybe holding cold water in the bottom bit of your mouth to soothe the pain?

I do feel you, I had a very memorable incident where I chewed my mouth up so badly I couldn't go to work and my non-drug-taking boyfriend was extremely less than impressed. Mouth cuts can be really sore but your mouth does heal quickly. Vitamin C and no smoking will also help!!
