Any tips for a beginner

So me and two friends are getting our own place and we are sick of buying weed all the time (expensive on this side of canada!!:X) so we decided were going to try growing some indoor weed.

What are some easy to grow strains? Also the three of us smoke up every day at least once so how much will we be needing in terms of yield (how many plants)

Any tips on growing would be awesome too!

With a 400 watt hps you could easily yield a qp or more every two months if you did it right.

Jesus, thats alot of smoke. Be careful if youre gonna grow that much bud, youl easily get done for intent to supply if you were to get caught. Idk what laws are like in canada/US tho. Either way, i dnt think youl get much advice about growin on this forum, Im quite sure I had a thread closed asking similar questions to yours.

The internet is full of grow guides for both indoor and outdoor gorwing in all climates. im sure youl find something that is easy enuff for a first time grower on a budget (im assuming you wont wanna spend too much on a setup). http://www.weedfarmer.com has a few good ones. Also http://www.ozstoners.com is basically dedicated to growing (altho it is based in Australia). Im sure Google could point you in the direction of a few good ones to.

u would need about 5 to 10 plants at most for 3 months.check for strains.one yields more than other.u could yeld a pound with good care,lighting and a later harvesting.

3 people can quite easily smoke more than an 8th a day. Unless it's some real badboy stuff.

5 lb every 4 months isn't really alot...

im assuming you are not a expert grower who can get a 1/2lb per plant

1 oz per plant x 80 / 16oz= 5lb

make 1 lb into hash and keep the other 4 lb to last the 4 months. if you smoke everyday then this should last you and your friends.

dont just jump into growing weed, take time and research.

by the sounds of the OP that was my guess at about how much they require. obviously the point of this thread is to ignore legality or that he might want the smallest grow op possible, and just suggest plantations for harvesting 100 lbs of couta bud at a time.

illegal is illegal hombre. once you have ~500 - 1000 plants the police start watching.

and OP, it would be wise to look into the proposed bill C - 15, it could mean mandatory minimums for pot growers in canada. fucking conservatives. lol

lowryder 1 works very well the one male and one female should yield you around 20 to 40 seeds if everything goes ok.

just havested 7 pollenated females have about 220 seeds really good flavor even withh the seeds taken out. decent high...
 
growing marijuana isnt that hard, i grew it in my basement when i was 14, i just had some flouresent lights and good soil, not to mention the fertilizer i had, there was about 7 plants that grew to about 4 feet =D i ended up drying them out then selling them, cant remember how much i made but i smoked a fair amount of it too
 
prepare to spend at LEAST a couple of hundred on a grow room.
mainly on lights and a carbon filter. all together a decent light setup and carbon filter should run you
about £400. which is about $680

I recently DIDNT set up a 400w veg, 400w flower, and a biiiiig carbon filter.
costs money, but mate- its worth it as it pays for itself.

which would you rather have?
paid out a few hundred for a carbon filter or be in jail because you were too cheap to prevent your entire street reeking of ganj?
