any serotonergic phentermine analogs?

SWIM tried phentermine for the first time tonight and apparently the dopamine action is really mild, almost trippy just being such a nice light speedy feeling.

anyone know of any modifications of this chem that release more serotonin?



(before posting this I read on the wiki that phentermine has greater norepinephrine action than dopamine action, so maybe the extra dopamine SWIM is feeling is due to the morphine+alcohol he combines it with rather than the phentermine itself? still, I believe this chem could be interesting if trippified...)

Again, however, my experience with Adderall is hundreds of times more favorable than my experience with phentermine.

I've always been surprised that simple alpha,alpha-dimethylphenethylamine was so disliked. The N-methylation of phentermine would most likely increase serotonergic activity, but that'll also make it much worse for you.

Mephentermine (N-methylphentermine) from India made the rounds a few years ago but failed to garner rave reviews either.

IIRC phentermine had not too little of a degree of serotonergic activity itself.

Heavily 5HT-fucking stimulants seem to have more of a propensity for making people go a bit squirrely in the head than those without such activity, and anecdotally, in the case of a former phentermine addict, when said person went on binges, believe you me I could tell the person had been using.
