    Welcome Guest!

Any (physiological) benefit to waiting three months rather than two?

By the way, anyone here going to the massive rave at the Cow Palace coming up in a few weeks in San Francisco? Because I recently finished bathing that big puddle outside, so I'm almost, ya know, ready to roll again.

All joking aside, though, if you really don't want to wait that long, you can help your neurotransmitters out by simply going to your doctor and asking him to prescribe for you an Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) or two, such as fluoxetine, paroxetine, or sertraline. There are a bunch of SSRIs out there and are pretty regularly prescribed. If your doctor asks why, simply say you've been feeling a little depressed and you heard it might help. It's really not a huge issue and he/she will undoubtedly prescribe a few of them for you on the spot. What the SSRIs do for you, like the namesake says, is increase your Seratonin levels. Do that, and eat a bunch of leafy green veggies, and a bunch of fruit before you roll will also help replenish your neurotransmitters.

There. Now you don't have to wait two months. Without getting into too much medical jargon that you'd just scratch your head over, that's about as simple as I can make it.
