Any Opium around?

Merely wandering if any has been sighted in Melbourne recently?

yes I have come by it once I bought some about 2 years ago my dealer said he bought it from sydney of some guy who smuggled it out of some leagal poppie farm in tasmania

You should grow your own opium.
i seen a few places on the web that sell poppy seeds.......
homegrown opiates, yum

what sort of special preparation does it take to produce opium from home-grown poppies? i can't imagine it's particularly difficult, but it's not just a matter of chewing on some flowers, is it?
any links?

PS it's not like i have any poppies or any desire to eat/smoke opium, but yeah, for interest's sake.
