Ok so I'm sure alot of people with no knowledge on the subject are going to bash this thread but having said that I'm new to this site and hope this is the proper place for this thread. So I have heard horror stories of rapid detox but then I've read dozens of testimonies on MDS and the coleman institute. Now I know I'm not an idiot and I know anyone could be writing those but there has to be some success and truth or they wouldn't still be in business. So if anyone has any first hand experience with this can u please respond? SWIM has been an iv heroin user for a little over a year .5-.75 a day and pills before that. SWIM is desperate to stop but can't take suboxone. It just doesn't work. I don't expect someone to go to one of these places with years of drug abuse and extreme habits to just get knocked out for 6 hours and wake up fine but maybe I'm wrong. I just don't understand how 10 days of withdrawals can be over in 6 hours. I understand they give u naltrexone and from what I know of it it's not an opiate so if you took that for a year u could stop with no withdrawal symptoms. Is that correct? Basically I'm hoping someone responds to this thread with actual knowledge of this procedure and first hand experience. Someone that isn't responding on the detox centers website. Lol. So please anyone out there that's been through this please help. Thanks
