Any known problem or disease cause by long term snorting

Because snorting drug is one of the most effective, fast acting and simple route of administation its the ROA I use the most. Because it burns, some drugs make my nose bleed, I started thinking if there any danger of doing this on long term.

Is there any known problem, disease cause by long term drug snorting ?
 
Hepatitis -necrosis of the intranasal structure and soft pallet - (basically rotting the inside of your nose). Then you have to consider the dangers associated with each drug your snorting and the long term effect it is having not only on your nose / nose lining / throat etc but your full body.

A saline wash after snorting (nasal irrigation) can really help to reduce the burn associated with some substances - in theory if your removing any debris left undissolved / absorbed then your removing the risk of that material burning your nasal cavity.
 
Deviated nasal septum - Can be caused directly depending on what substances you use and for how often but could also result by a blow taken to the area after it has been weakened.

Sinus/ear infections - Commonly happens, routine saline washes and breaks can help.

Silicosis - Silicon in the lungs that leads to all sorts of bad stuff. Caused by snorting inert binders in pills (silicon begin one of many of those).

There are more but those were always my main concern.
 
I'm not so concerned about the effects it has on the nasal membrane/passages as much as the potential ill effects on the lungs from the stuff you suck through, Like the silicosis thing that was mentioned, or the god knows what that is in street drugs. I think it was the old Oxycontins that might have had some silica like substance in them, also the Opanas apparently did. too.
 
What about sn0rting the Sub strips? liquifying them in a rig and squirting it up your nose.. The only reason one would do this is b/c you get a way better bioavailiability and can take a lot less (plus it kicks in faster, but most sub users aren't worried about that)
 
^Buprenorphine seems to be real harsh on my nose. All opioids seem to inflame the membranes, but bupe is the worst IME. It does seem to kick in faster, but I don't think its that significant of a difference. When I use 'em sublingual it take 60-75 minutes to feel the bupe, when I snort its probably 40-50 minutes. So there is still a latency period. Tends to be the case with with long acting medications, they always take longer to kick in, too. I wish there was a way to get it to kick in faster, aside form IVing, which I won't do, especially not nasty Subs. When you wake up in the AM and need to take it to have any motivation, that kinda sucks.
 
I haven't had any bad problems from snorting. But some times the inside of my nose will smell:/ and it will get inflamed and irritated and it'll hurt. Idk about oxy's or prescription drugs but I know coke will make a hole inside your nose. I should probably start cleaning the inside of my nose after I snort oxy cuz with the V cuts, I'll blow my nose and a lot of blue snot just comes out, this is probably wasting a lot of the pill but idk how to get it all when I snort it. It only seems like it does it with the V cuts cuz if I do a A imprint or M box than there isn't a bunch of blue snot in my nose, well none that I can tell anyways.
 
^The Vs got way more blue dye in them, that is all you are blowing out. Your nasal membranes will suck up most the pxycodone, most of what you blow out is filler and dyes. Granted there is probably some lost if you just blow your snot out and toss it. I would always eat the snot I blew out and I could tell if there was anything in it because I'd notice the bitter oxycodone taste(I know its kind of nasty, but when you spend around $1 for a mg then its hard to waste anything)

Shit, try $1.3 per mg, I don't think we're supposed to talk about prices(I think I saw something about it in the rules) but it's doubled in price in the past 3-4 years:/

Thanks for the answer though, I probably won't be eating the stuff that comes out of my nose lol I like the taste of drips but V's seem like they have a more potent taste than A's or M's(V cuts, A's and M boxes are the most common where I live, some times there is an occasional ALG and/or 224/114) after the taste of the V's sits in my mouth for a while, it becomes gross lol
 
Yeah, not really suppose to be talking about price but not really being specific and that is pretty much general knowledge regarding average street value of it. Regargless what they cost, it gets to be ridiculous, hence why I started using heroin a year ago. Even that sucks every every cent I have out of my pocket.

I will say always liked the Vs, about same as the a215s, but I didn't like the Ms, way too much filler in those things. More people I know seemed to hate the Vs and like the Ms, though, which I didn't understand. I can even remember 1 or 2 people thinking the larger amount of powder it breaks into being a good thing, I really could not understand that logic at all. Also I did 1 of those sometime last fall, snort as I always would. Wheni broke it up I was absolutely amazed at how much there was to snort, just 1 30 mg pill which wasn't even enough to get me high. If that amount of powder was heroin I would get high 3-4 times off it, I looked at it an wondered how I snorted up to 9 of them a day.
