Hi I'm new to this site n I'm finding it very helpful n interesting as I have just been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder , anxiety , depression . I've also had two spinal surgeries over the last 2 years now I have a herrington rod n 16 screws down my spine I'm I'n alot of pain n have had so much trouble I'm due to go back for an MRI scan I'n a couple of dayz n I'm really clortrostraphobic soz not sure how to spell :/ I went for one last week but couldn't go through with it I freaked rite out I had 5 5mg of valium tabs even tho I was only supposed to have 2 but I still freaked n it felt like the effect didn't even work It didn't calm me nor get me through it . I's there anything anyone suggests I herd Xanax works should I ask the dr for this Tom . Can anyone help plz

You will just have to tell the doctors how the valium didn't help, and they will have to go from there. Since we aren't doctors, if we suggest anything, it isn't going to guarantee you to get it. Do you see what I'm saying?

I've been on benzo's daily for 1.5 yrs now. If I took 10mg of valium at once, I would definitely feel it- 25 mg would knock my ass for a serious whacking....and I have a tolerance. The thing about diazepam is that- for me- it takes around 90 minutes to really feel it. It comes on slowly.
Do you now, or have you recently had a long period where you took Benzo's like Valium on a daily basis?
