i can imagine seeing
you looking up into the sky
wondering about things
and if you were just making
wishful hopes that things will
fall into the place and time
where they should be
i can almost hear your sigh
when what's expected didn't turn out

i can only imagine what
goes on in your head
and how you feel when
the people you opened up to
were not who they seem
and things that appeared rosy
seem to suddenly fall apart

i can't say i know what
those voices in your head say
when you're alone or just thinking
but i can imagine what they'd be doing
trying their best to pull you
down and into the darker side

i know i get angry easily
i know i disappear
but it doesn't mean i don't
think of you often and hope
that you're doing alright

whatever it is, no matter what
you're strong enough and will
overcome those inner demons
you believed in me
and i believe in you too
and again, I make my promise
i'm here, not physically but still here
and i will falter often too
but i'm here for you.
