Don't know if the medications like Clonozepam and Gabapentin are causing this. I was driving straight. Another road intersected one I was on. There was stop sign. I am sure I stopped but entered intersection. A Toyota highlander smacked my Honda civic destroying the front. I was not injured but my car probably totalled this time. The police cited me for failure to yield and screamed and yelled at me about how I put a woman and child in danger. I tried to get help many times. I was turned away from hospital in my town of Concord MA back in July when I was having a severe clonozepam withdraw they don't take my insurance and refused to help me without $5000 upfront to cover ER

You're the victim? Screw you. I'm a parent. Stay off the road if you can't operate a vehicle on pharmaceuticals. You're lucky you didn't kill anyone, and you're lucky your weren't cited for DUI. I don't feel a single pang of sympathy for you. Twice in two months? What's that tell you? Call a fucking Uber.

I had 2 car accidents in less than a year whilst abusing benzos, just low speed shunts but unlike me.

Benzos can effect your cognition but its not really possible to judge this for yourself, if your concerned you may wish to speak to your doctor. I tried Gabapentin recently and couldnt see straight for a week so stopped, luckily I was incapacitated from an op so driving wasnt on the cards

I have had a couple low speed fender benders this last year from mixing opiates and benzos. The last one was super emberassing. I nodded off at a red light and rolled into the car in front of me.

And look at your username, speeder37

Enough said.

Maybe he likes amphetamine. Judging dude by his screen name is a little bit of a stretch don't you think?

Plus TDS is a judgement free forum if you don't have anything nice or constructive to ad then refrain from posting.

I hear what your saying, I've got kids too but I think you are mistaking a little flippancy for disregard for others, the OP was taking prescribed drugs as many people do, these accidents may or may not have been related.

We all drive impaired in some way from time to time, tired, angry, distracted, hungry, old.

I've been on prescription morphine for 3 years I guess thats OK but heroin isnt ?? They give Benzadrine to helicopter pilots in the military..is that OK?

If I dont feel fit to drive through drugs or illness I don't but it's a judgement call and one most people make on a regular basis.

My apologies of a little light hardheartedness caused offence :\

I was also refused care when I went to the hospital for Clonozepam withdrawl (when I spent two days vomiting and dizziness) because I they wouldn't accept my insurance and I didn't have $5,000 in cash or on a credit card or someone who I could borrow the money from as was suggested. An accident is just that I was not driving while drink or high on cocaine or heroin (as many people just casually openly talk about such as 'was driving and was pulled over and they found cocaine on me but got off on probation or with 30 or 60 days in jail_. I have full insurance. The other driver was not transported to the hospital, she did not appear to be injured and she will be paid for whatever she claims by my insurance.

I would love to speak with my doctor. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to see a doctor as I need to keep a roof over my head... Haven't you heard that with the ACA (affordable care act) you need to pay thousands in deductibles before insurance will cover anything?
