Announcing the Bluelight Harm Reduction Merch Store + Partnership with Support. Don’t Punish!

This merch is going to help us spread the word of harm reduction.

Every design is crafted to carry our mission forward: helping others learn factual information about drugs and those who use them, support the community and help connect others to resources in order to create a safer more loving space for everybody.

We’re proud to collaborate with Support. Don’t Punish, a global initiative challenging stigma and transforming how communities view addiction and harm reduction. Part of the proceeds from our collab designs go directly to their work.

Huge shoutout to Discord moderator Moody - @ClementinesRevenge - for her artistic direction of the merch shop!

Note: this is our second attempt at a merch shop, after it turned out the provider of the first shop was not very reliable. I can advise that I have purchased merch from the new shop and it is good quality and arrived at my place in Australia really quickly, and without excessive postage fees. I think you'll all find this merch shop a lot more reliable than the last.

If there's a merch thing you desire that isn't in our shop, post your idea below, and we will look at adding community ideas in the new year. Here's the link to our announcement of the first merch shop where there are some ideas to work through already - some of which we took on for the new shop!

And you can also buy gift vouchers for the shop, if you wish to send one to a Bluelighter of your choice - could be a nice Christmas gift :)

OK what I wanna know is, are those designs on the clothing done in proper colourfast dye, or merely stamped on with that cheap crap rubber stuff that starts coming off after a few times in the wash -?

Great question. I have just washed my new t-shirt - will report back. But looks better quality than what you are suggesting to me.
But I'm not a garment expert!

That is cute, though I have to cringe at the thought of someone wanting to talk about it - like the average, common person

^ If I saw somone in a BL shirt I would probably engage and accidentally out them as a user in public -- couldnt help it lol. Once saw somebody wearing a regional shirt at the Custers Last Stand speech stunned them so much the ranger talking had a hand on her sidearm --- they were jumpy and my approach was not well done though.

How much merch would one have to buy to turn off the ai bot? lol

Hope all goes well.

Yeah I get it, not everyone wants to (or is in a position to) out themselves in this way! But yes the other part is being able to recognise your fellow community members at an event :)

I also like that the Bluelight merch (standard issue) doesn't really mean anything to people who aren't in the know. Bluelight could mean anything :)

That wasnt meant as a crticism -- I would be genuinely excited to see someone in BL merch.

I do hope it all sells as much as possible...... as tech illiterate as I am I presume you got some overhead!

It just cant be all kindness -- its not me style lol <3
