I don't know if this is the right sub-forum for this, but forgive me because I don't know where else to post this.
Let's say an individual (not associated with any organization) developed a new drug and wanted to get it animal tested. Is this even possible? What are the least costly ways of going about this? Could it be done at a university? If it was done in a professional lab, how much would it cost?
I know this sounds strange, but I've tried to research this and the only information I find is related to the prevention/opposition of animal testing.
