Hey everybody, I know a lot of us skip right past the homepage on Bluelight when logging on so I just wanted to highlight this important information from the Front Page. Erowid has provided clear clean facts about drugs for many years. It is a labor of love by two extraordinary people, Earth and Fire. Particularly with the number of new research chemicals hitting the market every day, this site is more crucial than ever.

Right now we have a chance to get them some funding from Reddit's Charity Giveaway in which people can vote for their favorite. Erowid is very close to getting the maximum votes and we need to help put them solidly in first place.:)

Here is the link to the article on the Home Page where you can read about it and get instructions on how to vote. Unfortunately if you are not already a member of Reddit you can't vote as I was very disappointed to find out. I made an account on the spot but you have to have been a member since February 18th. So, if you have an account, please vote!<3
 
Nice one. I'm not a member so I can't vote but I'll repost to my other message board and ask them to repost to anywhere else they post. Erowid was probably my first source of drug information and to this day probably remains the biggest collation of literature relating to recreational drug use outside of this site.

Can you just donate? I'd be more than happy to throw some money their way for the service they have provided me with over the years.

Will drop them a few quid when I get paid, erowid was instrumental in my career as burgeoning young psychonaut!(urgh hate that phrase=D)

Hopefully there will always be places like erowid and most likely they will only survive if crowd-funded.

How funny! I hate that word too but I almost used it when I posted this over in the PD social thread except I couldn't remember if it were spelled with an e or an o--somehow psycho-naut sounds like a psychotic astronaut (which truthfully might describe some of my trips but still.....=D)
