This is a thought-provoking piece with no determined message. It is for everyone to read and contemplate about whatever this brings to mind.

I am interested in what people think about this.

Negative and Positive criticism greatly appreciated.

An Evaluation of the Human Condition

To achieve, one must struggle. For if one does not struggle, then one can not truly savor the accomplishment.

If one is to struggle, must sacrifices be made? Must we, the children of the Earth, forsake our convictions and desires to 'achieve' the societal idea of achieving?

We observe this sacrifice and this struggle as a mere prerequisite that we must complete before we can become content. To society, content is to achieve and to achieve is to abide by the societal textbook.

Even after we achieve, are we ever truly content? Do we ever stop achieving? We sacrifice infinitely because we must continue to achieve, infinitely, in order to aspire.

Is achieving possible without the struggle and without the sacrifice?

The possibility exists when we can forsake the authored text and aspire to distant
goals. When we can reach past the front page and onto the platform for which it rests.

We must restructure the way we operate this ship. We are heading for an iceberg and the Captain has fallen asleep.

I don't think we have to forsake convictions of desires to achieve. It might happen as a byproduct, but that depends entirely on the field on which someone trys to achieve.

I think generally speaking, the higher you set your hopes, the greater the struggle and the more negative consequences you may encounter.

But heres the critical point you shockingly failed to make, if in our opinion, the benifits of the achievement outweigh the costs involved with achieving it, then you have made at least in your own eyes, a positive gain by the end of it!

You can't have something for nothing, don't ever expect that to change, the world doesn't just hand you success on a plate, and if it did, if for example you won the lottery, of course the benefits far outwiegh the costs, but you would feel almost no pride and sense of achievement. Your just lucky, and some people do of course just get lucky. But they aren't the ones who can sit back in a contented fashion, pondering their acheivements, and enjoy the sunshine on a lazy sunday with a drink in their hand and an admiring partner in the other.

To conclude, we aren't going to ever restructure the ship, there are simply too many people in the world, and that problem can only get worse, only a handful can have something for almost nothing, we don't have the resources to offer this 'benefit' to everyone. Besides, i would rather earn my success, i want to eventually form a successful, and possibly revolutionary band, do you think i'd prefere it if all the hard work was done and i was suddenly placed on stage right now ready to play?? HELL NO! Enjoy the challenge, be persistant, prove your mental strength to yourself and others, what have you got against making sacrifices to achieve the ultimate greater good??

RESTRUCTURE YOUR THINKING!

PS, i didn't mean to be particularly harsh with you, i just don't agree with your train of thought, that's all. You are nevertheless clearly one of the more intelligent, and thought provoking BL users, thanks for getting me thinking :)
