AMT and mushrooms?

Anyone tried combining AMT and mushrooms? With them both being tryptamines would it be like acid and mushrooms where the acid nullifies any mushroom effects?

Thank you please.

I can tell you that AMT + DMT was the best experience of my life. I'd guess it would make the mushroom trip very positive and blissful.

I'm interested to hear opinions too. I'll likely be able to report on this combo after the weekend.

I had a blindingly euphoric experience with AET + 4-AcO-DMT. It was pure mania... almost non-stop smiling and dancing, and a plethora of affectionate comments to my wife. Focus was preserved enough to read, and everything seemed absolutely intriguing. I ended up on an endless wikipedia hyperlink journey, which was sparked by telling my wife that she was an angel sent from the heavens...endless except for frequent interruptions by an uncontrollable urge to dance.

:D

It went something like this:

Angel --> Song of the Angels by William-Adolphe Bouguereau --> more works by Bouguereau --> French academic painting -->
back to Angel --> etymology of eloheim --> angels in Judaism --> seraphim --> angelic hierarchy -> theosophy --> etc., etc., etc....

Ultimately, the trip had little lasting value, as I couldn't remember but a small fraction of the massive amount of information I covered. It was a hell of a journey though.

etymology of eloheim -->
I love the word "eloheim". I came across it years ago and wrote it down in my journal simply because I liked the round sonorous sound of it so much.

You should pick up Jorge Luis Borges' "Selected Non-Fictions," translated by Eliot Weinberger if you haven't read it already. Borges is my favorite writer; in my opinion he's of the same caliber as Joyce. He's all about exploring ancient mythos and systems of theological symbology for what they tell us about human thought. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here's a list of titles of some of his essays: "A History of Angels"; "The Perpetual Race of Achilles and the Tortoise"; "The Homeric Visions"; and, "A History of Eternity".

Funny you mention Borges... I just picked up a copy of Labyrinths not too long ago. I haven't opened it yet, but a book of short stories is just what I could use right now.

I just did aMT and mushrooms last night! I did 18 mgs of aMT at about 4:00 pm, and we got to the party at about 10:00. Once there, someone had a bag of mushrooms and was kind enough to give me a couple little morsels, and then my partner bought a mushroom chocolate and we ate some of that. It was a pretty strong chocolate i woudl say.

Anyways, as the mushrooms kicked in, i got very euphoric, and the visual experience was pretty mild overall, but still very enjoyable. Some trails and lots of nice colors and psychedelic glows to things. I talked freely with people with no anxiety once the party got going. The two combined into a big ol' mash of tryptaminy bliss. I drank a significant amount of beer as well, 6 or 7 over the course of the whole night. But yeah the combo rocked, I had a super great night. aMT is one of the best drugs ever. It's got so many good thigns going for it.

Two thumbs up for the AMT + 4-AcO-DMT combo.

20 mg AMT IM + 20 mg 4-AcO-DMT at T+6:00 provided a thoughtful and lucid headspace. In many ways, my though processes were enhanced, even after the psilocetin addition. I stumbled upon a number of new insights regarding patterns of human behavior and perceptions of mental health. AMT facilitated a sanguine, but not manic disposition that persisted throughout the day, which was spent exploring and swimming at a nearby state park. I decided that the emotional effect of AMT was not unconditionally euphoric, as MDMA or AET reliably are, but rather AMT provided an enhanced feeling of empathy and well-being that seemed more natural. I likened the state to feeling love (both receiving and desiring to give) rather than forceful and frenzied euphoria. After the psilocetin, music took on an exquisitely layered and pristine quality, and closed-eye visuals were more beautiful and intricate than any work of art. I still felt slightly off baseline this morning (with persistent mild pupil dilation) after 8 hours of sleep at T+22:00, though pupils were back to normal by T+24:00.

Note: Zofran (4 mg) and Ibuprofen (400 mg x 2) mitigated any AMT-induced nausea or headache. I would also highly recommend taking a magnesium supplement to ease jaw tension.
