Amphetamines (in particular MPA) inhibit CYP2D6 enzyme?

The other day I had a binge on methiopropamine (MPA) and had about 360 mg of codeine set to take for the comedown. So after being strung out for about 24hrs and ready for a nice warm codeine blanket to chill I drank codeine and got basically no effect from it.

Now codeine for me can be a bit hit or miss but this time there was literally no effect and I had a totally empty stomach did extraction correct etc. So, does MPA and amphetamines in general inhibit CYP2D6 lowering the conversion to morphine for the codeine effects? As MPA is an analogue of methamphetamine basically, and I think I have read that MDMA inhibit various CYP450 enzymes including CYP2D6.

So, basically was this why there was no effect from the codeine?

so anyone had codeine after an amphetamine binge and found it did nothing? I did some more searching and found an article saying MDMA strongly inhibits many enzymes including cyp2d6 and that methamphetamine does to a lesser degree

I guess if I am interpreting that correctly codeine is useless for comedowns :(

Maybe pubmd has some studies on this? I am not very familiar about the workings of any of those drugs.

Hmmm... I'm not actually sure, but I know when I've binged on dexedrine and felt like a dopamine drained piece of shit the next day, I've taken small amounts of Codeine (T3s) just to take the edge off and I definitely felt the effects.
