For the last few weeks I've been using amphetamine (or gear as it's called around my parts) one or two times a week. I'd mostly been smoking or snorting it and I thought it was quite good, but not as good as I'd hoped it to be.
My friend suggested I shoot some speed, seeing as how we had alot of fits (syringes). I was a little worried but I said I'd have a go.
My first time wasn't that great either, this report will focus of my second time shooting gear.
Dosage: This will sound really bad but I'm not sure. Over here we buy 'packets' and they cost $50 each. Sorry I can't be more specific. It was double what I usually use though.
I was at my mates house (shall be known as George) with him and one of his other friends (shall be known as Bob). He already had the gear and had already had a shot. We went into his room and he made one up for me. I'd just got home from college and I was a little tired I guess, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm not in the best of shape either (no exercise and a couple of packs of cigarettes a week) so maybe that had something to do with it.
"This is a bit more then what you usually do, but I think you'll like it" George told me. I felt my heart beating and tried to calm myself down.
I used an alcohol wash on my arm and used a belt to tie up with so I could get my veins up. Once we'd found a good one I let George insert the syringe and watched as some blood shot into the syringe. George injected the gear, pulled it out and I untied the belt and I just sat there.
I waited a few seconds when George said to me "Hold your arm in the air and open and close your hand. I did this about three times and...
I felt my heart rate slowly build up and my head went slightly tingly. It felt like all the air was rushing from inside my lungs out of my mouth. They felt really cold as well. I made a "huuuuh" sound, I couldn't believe the intensity.
"Oh shit man" I said, rocking back and forth slightly "Dude I'm gonna die I'm gonna die!"
"Russell man, it'll be ok, it's just the rush, just relax and it'll be great" George told me, patting my back.
Before I go on, I know some people would thing George is a bit of a prick for introducing me to shooting up, but he has never been dodgy or used dirty needles. He helped me out the whole way.
Anyway, I managed to calm down and I walked into the large room. My body felt great all over, I didn't really know what to do. So I walked into the lounge room and said to Bob "Ohshitmanhaveyouhadsomeofthisgear?" He just looked at me, nodded and smiled. He was drawing a picture.
I sat down and lit up a smoke. RadioHead was on, and I was talking like a madman to George and Bob. They told me they were used to it and they could control how they felt.
I went late on and read for a little while. I did end up going to sleep, but when I woke up I felt almost the same. Work went by quick that day.
I'd put this down as a really good experience. I won't be using it for awhile though. George and I ended up using way too much on the weekend and by Sunday and Monday I felt like shit.
I might add some more to this later if I remember anything else. Cheers for reading.
