Hi all. Just wondering if anyone can help with this weird result from 4 reagent tests on some 'Amphetamine'.
Marquis: orange as expected.
Mecke: no change, as expected.
Simon: no change, as expected.
BUT...
Mandelin: no change! Should have gone dark green!
My mandelin reagent changes colour as expected with other drugs (MDMA and heroin) so I doubt there's anything wrong with it, e.g. contamination, heat exposure etc.
I've sent a sample off to a free analysis service but they're running slower than usual so no results available yet.
In the meantime, does anybody know what could turn Marquis reagent orange but not react with Mandelin reagent?
