Amphetamine/Methamphetamine confusion

I take on average 100-140mg of adderall or it's generic counterparts daily and on a day that i couldn't get it, i tried smoking methamphetamine. I have used it before (snorting and smoking) and it's always been a subtle high for me, however, after smoking it, i really didn't feel any different than i felt before. Is it because of my current use of amphetamines, and i should've taken more? Is the desired feeling of methamphetamine a lot more subtle than amphetamines? Or is it a possibility that my body built up an immunity to it? any insight would help as i am very confused by the situation

If you have a tolerance to other amphetamines you would have a cross-tolerance to methamphetamine. Also street methamphetamine is of unknown potency and smoking it is sort of a different feeling from taking it orally (and the effects last less time).

This, and methamphetamine has a stronger affinity for serotonin receptors than amphetamine, and vice versa with norepinephrine/dopamine receptors, hence amphetamine tending to have an edgier, more stimmed effect while meth has a smoother, slightly more euphoric one though this is highly subjective as we're talking about perceived effects.
