I have a prescription for 15mg Dexedrine spansules. I generally use the drug once a week where I'll take it for about 24-36 hours before going to sleep finally. The first weird thing I notice is that I never am that eager to take the drug. If it's been a week since I took it last and I know I should take it to get some stuff done I get an unpleasant feeling thinking about the amphetamine experience.
I think I only seem to remember the negatives which is the opposite one would expect. There are a lot of negatives of course when you're talking about all nighters so the last impression I get from the binge is waking up the next feeling kinda fried, a combination of amphetamine come-down obviously but also Seroquel effects which is a pretty terrible drug for anything other than coming down of stimulants. I've learned to take smaller and smaller doses, just 1/3 of a 50mg pill works with minimal after effects.
But the main strange experience I get is that amphetamine is not pleasant for the first few hours. This could be because I crush the beads and put the powder under my tongue or dip it in my lip. This way I get to theoretically control the dosing more since extended release last too long. But the first few hours after I start dosing 7mg every 45ming or so I usually want to just lie down and use my e-cig.
After a few hours pass though, the anxiety and tension is gone and I'm left feeling more relaxed but still stimulated especially if I throw 900mg of gabapentin in there too. The next day when I haven't slept in at least 24 hours, I feel pretty good most of the time. It's hard to separate whether this is due to the drug or sleep deprivation. As I'm sure you're aware, sleep deprivation has been shown to help ease the symptoms of depression.
So do you all feel a different euphoria when you've been up on amps for a while?
Do you feel not so good when you first dose?
Also does anyone else like to combine gabapentin with amps?
Do you ever not want to take amphetamines due to an unpleasant feeling?
