Amphetamine & Alcohol

Gonna get drunk tonight w/ a friend, just took a vyvanse 40mg capsule because i have some schoolwork to do. Just now I'm wondering if the alcohol would interact with the vyvanse? We're drinking some 17% Cali Sherry, a liter or so, and maybe some Guinness Stout.

OH yeah if it's important I'm gonna be taking 20mg Hydrocodone or 4 Vicodin, the alcohol should just increase that, don't think the lisdexamfetamine would interact with that so I didn't mention it at first but, just in case

Alcohol + a strong stimulant (Amphetamine) is not the best idea. Any type of booze causes dehydration. Combine that with a heart & circulatory system that's being worked fairly hard for a few hours by the Amphetamine and bad things can happen.

Adding opiates to that mix will probably place an even greater strain on your heart.

I wouldn't do it... But that's me.

Thanks, usually I drink a lot of water so I'm not too worried about dehydration. Anyone else is welcome to add their input.

I agree on both points with ro4eva. ive been scripted dex for a while now nad drinking on it isnt nice especially if you are doing them at the same time (sometimes ill drink at the end of the night just a little but thats still badish) cos the amphet wears off and the alcohol kicks your ass. its just not good for your heart tho really

If its spaced out enough its a little less dangerous. Drinking is always bad with anything like that but at those dosages and if you dont drink a pint of whiskey you'll be fine. ALSO def dont add opiates. Opiates and Benzos/or stimulates (im not saying benzos and stimulant are the same im separating them... im obviously fucked up right now.... lol)

I am not a doctor do not take advise as recommendation or permission to do so. Only that i have done way more of each and been fine. Just start out drinking slow see how it hits u and DEF KEEP HYDRATED with H20 not beer llol.

If you have a tolerance for opiates/beer,wine, w/e, stims.... then you should know your self. Mixing 2 of those is fun but bad. Mixing 3 is FUCKING great but reallllllly realllllly bad. So if you set on doing it I would take the opiates before drinking ket them hit u and start out SLOW on the booze.. Once again if u ahve dine this before u know whats up and how dangerous those 3 are to mix if your planning on drinking 1liter of cherry and a bunch of the greatest IRISH BEER ever... be carefull.

This is probably the biggest problem people run into with stimulants + alchohol. They way over-estimate their drinking tolerance and feel like superman until the stimulant wears off and all those 20 shots come 'round to knock you out and fuck you up.

I suppose the other answer to this is to take more stimulants and never ever come down! Muhahahah....

True, taking stims, for me, enables me to drink more without thinking i'm as fucked up as i actually am... but combiningg stims with booze.. ohk, but if i were you i would save the opiates for another time

I've done it a few times and for me I just need more booze than usuall to get drunk

^Exactly. It feels good, but it's such a waste of alcohol just to get a little warm feeling! I almost drank an entire 40oz of vodka by myself in 2-3h once - it's insanely dangerous, so please, if you mix amps and alcohol, make sure that you don't have access to large amounts of alcohol.
