smoking lots of weed chronically makes you lazy?

From my experience

FACT

I'm talking about smoking all day ... everyday. smoking the chronic chronically

smoking a couple times a week or even just a night makes you lazy

FICTION

Maybe its good i quit cause i know i cannot moderate for shit

God i wish i could moderate my cannabis use

*note above is my own experience

fact. smoking weed all day every day without a doubt decreased my motivation. this may not happen to everyone but it does happen to some people.

It depends greatly on the strain. Strong sativas, like Sour Diesel, have been very useful for me in terms of increasing motivation and productivity. I quit heavily stimulant abuse cold turkey this past June and was immediately faced with an intensive 4-week academic program. The only way I got through it successfully was by smoking sativas every day. At the time, I was very depressed, unmotivated, lethargic, etc, but when I smoked sativa strains, I became happy, productive and energetic. That's a fact.

smoking weed all day will generally make you lazy. likewise, if your life is such that you have the time to sit around and smoke weed all day, your activity level in general likely isn't the highest.

there are exceptions, YMMV, etc. . . just a very general statement based on my experiences.

Suppose you started smoking pot in high school recreationally. You eventually become a chronic user and contiue your education into college and think to yourself...

"I've been doing fine, I graduated high school and I am still going to school".

How would you know your full potential if you didn't at least stop for a few weeks? Is there even anything to realize because you can't go a day without it.
