coulda been the underage thing too. ah the beauty of being 19 and underage....dont' remember whether they knew the age tho cant really remember
 
Haha it can be easy to forget not everywhere lets you drink when your 18, fuck that seriously. I do think youth drinking is a big problem but when you ban it you make it trendy and you also take away the ability to intervene. Atleast a bar tender can stop serving and bouncers can handle unruly drunks, force the kids on to the street to drink and your left with no control.

That has a negative side too; it means every old bat who gets a splinter or stubs a toe feels inclined to call 000 and waste valuable emergency service time & resources. From what I've read it's a considerable problem with the majority of call-outs not being critical? Correct me if I'm wrong? I think there's even been a recent media campaign to try to tackle the issue?

Edit: personally I think if there's any reason to believe someone's life is in danger then it's worth getting an ambulance etc, otherwise a taxi to the ER should be sufficient. I guess if in doubt go for the safer option?

not to mention the fact that everyone will just go and smoke trees instead, no age limits on illegal drugs. for me and my mates it was far easier to get weed than grog, so thats what we did.

i mean really how many 21 year olds are you mates with when you are 15....not very many...

Bud lightyear I do agree that it definately forces more kids to smoke bud. Although I do have to say at 15/16 most the people I got weed, meth and E off were old enough to buy grog in America. I could of got them to buy me booze but I usually opted for illicit drugs.
 
lol budlightyear, from reading the first post i know who you are :P you can probably figure out who i am from the name.

This event on sat night was mess, i beleive the reason the police started showing up and sussing things out was due to the number of ambo's being called to the same location. They would have been questioning you too suss out what was going on inside. If they beleive its a big drug fest they have the right too shut it down, as they did with Trance Energy 09 in Melbourne.

Im actually surprised this event lasted the whole night and morning as things got bloody messy, although it was such a fantastic night. Its also possible the police car just pulled up when it saw the ambulance pulled over on the side, as it was on a main st in the CBD on a sat night, they're everywhere.

hahah yea hows it going. shhh no one knows my true identity!...ur name helped, but also the text u sent the girly lol.

was there really that many ambo's tho? i was talking to the bouncer that i carried the dude out with, apparantly that was only like the 12 or 13th ambo they'd call to the club in his whole career there. i find that pretty stinkin hard to believe tho....

but yea the cops got called by the bouncer just to make sure it was all cool getting him in the ambulance.....although it really did just make it worse.

Oh I missed the NYC part, that makes sense kinda I guess.

Cops are cops everywhere for the most part, they all like to show up and do their thing.

No, not the shoulder. Best way is to first tap the foot of the casualty with your foot, while standing back from the person. Our RaveSafe team was recently informed of a volunteer who first touched a casualty with her hand. The person responded with a reflex arm movement which hit her in the face. A ring the casualty was wearing hit the eye of the volunteer and may have caused permanent damage.

So keep a safe distance until you're sure the person isn't a threat to you.
