Ambien

Ambien is incredible!!!! Its one of my all time favorite recreational drugs (and I have tried everything) I would recommend taking at least 2 at a time...now there is one small problem with Ambien, as you know it is a drug used for treating insomnia and therefore will make you extremely tired....fight the urges to fall asleep, they will pass and when they do you will feel a sense of euphoria unlike anything else out there!!!! On one occasion I took three 10mg Ambiens and went for a long walk through a state forest....needless to say once the ambien hit me I got soooo messed up that I couldnt remember which path led back out of the forrest...at one time I looked down at my feet and there was this stick there....I looked away and then looked back down at the stick BUT instead of being a stick it was a black and orange snake....NO JOKE...I looked away and then back down at my feet again...and the snake was a stick again...very weird....anyway Ambien is a great recreational drugs. Have fun and be safe
OUT
PS - that happened a long time ago so im not certain what the dosage was, but im pretty sure it was three 10 mg ambiens

If you are inquiring to the actual effectiveness when used for insomnia, I find that it works very well, although you have some very odd dreams, or at least I did. I suppose that you could use it recreationaly too, but I just use it to fall asleep. It is chemically related to sonata, but in my experience, sonata is almost completely useless for insomnia. Some folks seem to get a kick out of railing it though.

Yeah , I really like ambien as well. For a sleeping aid I find it's the only one that actullay makes me feel like I got QUALITY sleep.
Also as long as I get at least 6 hours sleep I dont feel in the least bit sluggish or groggy when I wake up.
Usually I take 20mgs,, fight the sleep for 20 mins or so & go with the weird feeling (I hate tripping so its not like that) I get some pretty strange thoghts running through my head, it's great IMO.
Most people dont get it, but I'd rate it up with there my favorite drugs. To each to there own!

snort it. The come on is instant and the high is a million times better. It hurts to snort, but you dont have to snort too much. I would recommend snorting 2 or 3 10mg pills and going nuts for while. If you're one of those people who has no natural tolerance to anything, you'll need some friends around to keep you out of trouble and possible tell you what happened when you come to.

ambien sux :/ i've had trouble sleeping since adolescence, and have had to take aids nightly for about the last 10 years. shortly after ambien was released, my doctor prescribed it - did virtually nothing. a year or so later i tried again, just in case... still nada. i've found diphenhydramine hydrochloride (benadryll) and doxylamine succinate the best by far - OTC stuff is far better than anything i've been prescribed.
as far as dosage, first understand that i'm a large male (6', 200#) so this is just what works for me - not intended as a guideline for anyone else. for the former - D.H. - i use about 150 mg which puts me down in 1-2 hours and is a pretty clean wake up, for the latter - D.S. - 50 mg puts me down in UNDER an hour (unless coking) but makes it difficult to get up in less than 10 hours. hope that helped

Ambien is great, it's a strong hypnoitc, and therefore it can cause some intense experiences. When i take enough, i get mad visuals, but unlike LSD or any other visuals, it seems more real, like what your seeing is actually there, and no matter how much someone tells you that it isnt there, you still believe it is there. You gotta be in a safe enviroment though, because of ambien's great hypnotic power, it can be dangerous.

one of the side effects of ambien is hallucenations...which in my opinion, rocks. but if you're taking it to go to sleep it WILL give you strange dreams because of the whole hallucenation side effect...

Great for sleep - contrary to popular belief, Ambien has those same nasty side effects as benzos, including addiction and withdrawal.. one thing that makes it WORSE then benzos is that too much (which can be as little as 10mg) and you trip out (in a BAD WAY, like Dramamine, not something fue like acid..

I have yet to try ambien, but i have tried diphenhydramine. Im just wondering what's so different about them. (i know the obvious difference) but it seems like the trip and effects are the same. So is there a general difference between a diphenhydramine and an ambien trip? I saw both drugs should be praised or bashed to pieces. Cause ambien is gettin all this praise while almost everyone hates diphenhydramine.

I am killin' me a threads as fast as I can hit the POST button! I am a moron!

ambien is the most popular script drug in the states at mom... i've been jacking from moms' stash for a while now and IMHO great for sleep, no burn like you get from bnzo's, but yeah, you do do wierd shit like calling old grlfriends in the middle of the night and not remebering the next day

I think that it is because even if the general visual effects are similar, there are a lot less negative effects to ambien...and when you get tired of the trip, you just go to sleep. With diphen, et al, I tend to get an overall "uncomfortable" feeling, can't sleep, and have to take a piss literally every 5-10 min. I never intentionally trip or overdo it on diphen, it just happens as a result of trying to get to sleep. I refer to this state as "anticholinergenic hell" (sp?)
