I think we may have discovered the next great high, Ambiens! Alone, 3-5 of these will have u feeling a warm buzz, euphoric, and stumbling like a drunk!. When such a doseage is used in conjunction with 40mcg prozac one begins to have vivid hellucinations as well as feeling confused and "floored". When combined with extacy it is indeed the drug cocktail dreams are made of! Intensfying your rool while simultaniously making your whole world melt.
Take the Ambien challenge! oh, its also great for when yer comming down of crack or meth!
 
Neither Ambien or Prozac will get you high. Feeling drowsy and lethargic has nothing on illegal drugs, which I wholeheartedly suggest you try someday.

(however eating 1, 10mg ambien and then staying awake is pretty interesting. but i wouldnt say its a drunk feeling.... its definately a trip, ala psychedelic or dissociative)

dont touch illegal drugs. theyre too good for you and youd probably do some stupid shit with them.

Wanna be more specific? Like how many mgs is each pill?
I really like ambien , I like to fight sleep for 20 mins, then once I shut my eyes I'm out, great for people have trouble sleeping. I certainly wouldnt take them just to get 'high' they are a tool with a fun added bonus!
Oh I take 20 mgs, occasionally 30mgs.
 
Yes, "ambien" is a prescription sleep aid. a sedative hypnotic if you will. i myself have taken up to 30mgs and experienced a mild "trip". perceptions were off, i was in a chatroom and all the words on the screen bended on me. i thought i heard indians behind my computer and found myself trying to move my monitor to get a look!
so yeah, i guess they give you a "high". i dunno about taking them while you're rolling though, since this is quite a downer.
have you actually taken ambien while rolling original poster??
 
Ambien will give you some majorly strange dreams as well as trips. I have taken up to 30 mg at one time and have had to fight to stay awake.
They are good for taking after rolling to help fall asleep, but if you are peaking they don't work too well. Not something I really recommend as a recreational drug.
 
Ambian will not get you high. All it does is make you tired as fuck until you pass out. Like Exx_Head said you have some crazy fucked up dreams on that shit. I think taking 3-5 ambians would make you pass out within an hour...
 
Bullshit it won't get you high.
Ambien WILL get you high. VERY VERY VERY high. I'm sure you have to have certain psychological problems for this to work such as suffering mania where a moderate dose is just not enough to put you to sleep. After about an hour you will have a very powerful dissociative trip and probably forget how the hell you got so fucked up or possibly even believe you took another drug like ketamine.
And if for whatever reason you want to abort the trip, lay down, close your eyes, you'll wake up several hours later back to normal.
 
See, if you look at some of my older post, I used to also say that Ambien had no recreational value.
It seems like the more I've used it, the more I can get hallucinogenic/dissociative effects from it.
I used it last night and I had completely forgotten what happened and figured that I must have snorted some ketamine (something I have not done in over three years). After 30 minutes I understood what was going on and had an interesting time just walking around my house. After a while I realized I should go to sleep. I layed down and closed my eyes. The next thing I knew it was 7am. And now here I am at work.
 
last time i took it in an excessive (more than just sleepy time) dose.....
i ended up calling the police station in my home town (i was in a different state at the time) at around 4 in the morning, to report a crime.
if this is what youre looking for, go for it.
ambien is the only drug ive ever taken that has produced these crappy effects.
 
Even though I use Ambien for the purpose of sleeping, I can attest to the fact that if you miss that window of sleep Ambien provides you with you can have some very trippy moments--someone mentioned the typing on a computer screen--I've had it to where it looked as if the letters were sort of swaying back and forth to the music. This is only on 10mgs mind you, I've never purposely taken it for purely recreational reasons but I think it would be pretty hard to not pass out on 30mg, but then again I haven't tried it yet. Does anyone else get really talkative on it (albeit incoherent, yet talkative)?
 
Those who say ambien cannot get you high have obviously never tryed it, at least not large doses. I use to steal these from my mom (yeah, i know, i'm canidate for son of the year). Ambien is a hypnotic, so if you take it and you don't go to sleep its like your dreaming but your still awake. I've done almost every psychadelic that you can name, and none of them have produced stronger hallucinations than ambien. Ambien isn't something to play around with. Last time i did it i did it with a friend of mine who ended up in jail because we had no idea what the fuck we were doing and ended up dancing in the street...
 
Im not denying that ambien does produce mild hallucinations when taken in larger doses, but I think a good comparision to an ambien "trip" is like a diphenhydramine or benedryll "trip".... Imo

Just this past weekend I experienced ambien for the first time. It was after a long night of partying, and I took a 1 (10 mg) pill at around 11 a.m. I was very awake since earlier in the evening (morning) I had dabbled in some coke and taken a few tabs. I have never taken any dissociative or anything similar and have only had mild visuals from MDA. However, these visuals were completely different. Objects began blurring together, walls started bending, etc. The next day I talked to some of the people from the party that had taken the same dose and said they experienced similar things. I did notice it was hard to walk though...for some reason i was walking around with my toes curled up. also, has anyone ever experienced trouble hearing on ambien? i mean, i began imagining voices and things very far away sounded very close, almost scary.
 
I used to take a lot of Ambien (Zolpidem Hemitartrate) when I had insomnia. I certainly wouldn't compare it to recreational drugs personally. It's good for comedowns though as it has a mild sedative and euphoric effect.
 
Oh and as for prozac - no mate.
Prozac won't get you high at any dose.
 
I had some wierd times with ambien. Apart from the trippy feelings of taking 2 & staying awake, Once I was coming down off acid & I took one to sleep. I have no recollection of what happened after that. but I woke up in a friends house(how i got there...?), & someone with me said i was yelling, restless & saying dis-connected phrases, etc...Never again...

I don't think that it's people don't believe you can get high on it. It's that people don't believe it's anything remotely fun.
I used to absolutely hate tripping on Ambien. Especially being that I only used it to try to get to sleep. And that brings me to my second point. You don't need large doses of Ambien. You just need a dose large enough to put you to sleep, then keep yourself awake. I also think Ambien has a reverse tolerance, that you become more sensitive after a while. At least in my own personal experience.
