I got scriped ambien today (love my recent psyciatrist) and was wondering a few things about it. Ive only taken ambien a few times....once when i was 16 and went to school on 8 coricidin for the first time every trying dxm and didnt feel shit so my buddy gave me 6 10 mg ambien, i took 3 then befoe i knew it i had the rest gone. Felt like i was flying, it was amazing. But eventually i ended up "od'ing" cuz my father saw me and that was no good. I remember bit and peices of that night and for some reason i recal i was on a cruise ship the whole night with my family and was havign an amazing time, and the other other thing i can remember was there was a guy standing over me the entire time i was there and i had no idea why. turns out the guy was the metal pole that holds the iv that sits by the bed. Last time i took it i was in the hospital for a dog bite and couldn't sleep cuz i hate hospitals so they gave me one and i felt like i was dreaming while i was awake. It felt so surreal i couldn't even describe it. SO with that being said, could I use ambien for both psychedelic purposes AND sleeping or should ambien just be kept as a "when needed to sleep" occasion. Personally i could see it being EXTREMELY psychedelic at higher doses.

ambien is notttt pyschedelic. i took 3 and its more delirium/wavy shit, no psychedellia whatsoever

The Z Hypnotics can definitely be hallucinogenic in an awesome way. I've only had a couple of experiences (with zaleplon aka Sonata(which may be the best amongst them), haven't tried zolpidem) but they had by far the best OEVs I've ever seen (well, a couple of combinations come close in terms of sheer awesomeness, but single drug, no contest).

You have gotten better visuals from hypnotics than DMT?

Haven't done DMT yet, actually (I have IV'd a 4-sub tryp a few times though, fwiw). It's a different thing though, zaleplon left me mentally unaltered but all my furniture came alive, my bed was bobbing up and down as if in water, felt like snakes were under my sheets, weird cottony spider-web shit in the middle of the air that I could catch with my hand then blow off...it was more like what popular culture imagines a hallucinogenic experience to be like than I thought possible (though it is likely only a very small percentage of individuals is so vulnerable to its effects...).

Ambien is hella strange. The last time I took any I ate 3 with a few beers and seen a shadow guy hit my friend in the head with a lead pipe.

For me, people got these weird translucent headgears, everyone had one. There was a space helmet with antennae, an ornate indian headpiece, a baseball cap thing, and then it seemed like we were underwater. Then I don't remember hahaha.

been addicted to the stuff for 2 years now...

not really psychedelic, although you can get hallucinations like wavy walls, shadow people, distortions, voices in your head.
once i had a huge ambien party in my room.
who knew inanimate objects could be so interesting...
usually makes me delusional without me acknowledging the delusions, aka retarded.
blacking out, thinking every idea is a good idea, and telling people secrets/weird things is usually part of the ambien experience...

be careful!!! have fun remembering!!
