Ambien Overdose

Yesterday i picked up the rest of my prescription of ambien at the pharmacy and planned on taking a high dose to feel effects, unfortunately this ended up to a trip at the hospital.

Yesterday night i took 70mg of ambien, waited impatiently for 20 minutes but felt no effects, so then i took like 60mg more. All that i can remember is being at the hospital drinking charcoal, yuck!

My mom found me in the bathtub, with the water overflooded, just laying there, talking crazy about having a "pool party". I guess i was going delerious. This whole experience was a complete blackout.

I am never going to touch ambien again, this drug is so disgusting, and in my opinion has absouletly no recreational value.
 
I don't think it has any recreational value in anyones opinion. You have to POISON yourself to get effects. And the effects are not pleasant.

i think ambien is the most disgusting drug i have ever used. i can make myself feel sick just by thinking about it.
 
I didn't need to know that, chat. Sounds fucking hectic man, I heard that at low doses it can be used recreational, but I wouldn't risk it myself. Fuck 130mg, I'm surprised your not insane.
 
This drug really is crap , it's dirty in the same way that the datura alkaloids are but the worst for me is that I also get a very noticeable comedown which makes me want to do more.

I never had this with normal benzo's although I really like tem I can manage them and don't pop em everyday till the prescription runs out.

Any ideas on the addictive nature of this stuff? Maybe because of it's extremely short duration/ half life? Also I usually combine with booze to get a relaxing effect after the first day I didn't get any trippy effects anymore.
 
wow. 130mg is a lot of ambiem. i find this substance to be recreational, just remeber more does not always equal better. try it in the 5-20mg range and smoke some herb while on it. feels kinda like a mix between a sedative and DXM. i find 10mg plus one or two bowls of herb to be the right amount with this drug, when i take more i tend to forget the entire experience.
 
I had never any problems with feeling effects from 10mg of Ambien (snorted, burned, euphoria). Maybe I'm just different. I never actually took (swallowed) any... :-/ Sorry to hear that...
 
If you ask me, ambien kicks ass. There is no other pharmaceutical that can even begin to mimic it's effects. Clearly, its in a class of it's own. The mental and physical delusions it's capable of producing, combined with their sheer intensity and crazyness, make ambien an exotic jewl disguised in a small, white little chunk of pure brain candy.
However, it's capacity for abuse is phenominal.
 
Oh yeah, and I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate turn of events. 130 Mgs! A trip to urgent care and black shit was getting off easy. What if you drowned in the tub?

ofcourse you wont like it at 130mg. You cant even remember it.
I cant say i particularly like ambien but it can be fun at 10-40mg with marijuana. I think anything higher than 40 is pushing it.
