Ambien cross tolerance

i used to be an avid ambien user ROA being via nose, wen i first started taking them i would only snort 1 or maybe 2 and id fall into a decent "trip" for about 40min or so. obviously then upping my dose after a tolerance was built. now flash forward after completely stop taking them, only rec use mind u. well i just snorted 20mg zolipem and as far as i know i don't have a tolerance. although i do take 4mg of clonazepam daily. but i feel like im just barely threshold effects. i was wondering if my benzo use( i didn't take any kpin today) could somehow caused a cross tolerance to zolipem, i think i may have read at a couple sources saying their may be a cross tolerance with those 2. idk im just really curious. im a spacecadet and always used to find zolipem a worthwhile drug to take in lou of a real psychedelic. i made sure the ambien wasn't XR, and i just thinks its odd on y i didn't have the same type of experience with no tolerance. idk just seems odd, has anybody heard or have experience with this cross tolerance

Zolpidem is very closely related to benzos even though it technically isn't one. I don't have experience with this personally but I would be surprised if there *wasn't* cross tolerance.

Be careful upping the dose with zolpidem - I doubt I have to tell you it can get pretty weird and the unpleasant effects and hangover feeling seem to get much worse as you scale over 20mg or so (in my experience, at least; I don't use zolp often and I usually take 10-20mg when I do).

yeah, its just wen i was in jail a guy would get ambien 10mg pills, and i built a tolerance super fast which led to me taking up to 5 or 6 in about 20 min to get desired effect. but now that i do actually take kpin daily i was just unimpressed with a substance i used to enjoy, next time ill up the dose and see what happends(more than ready for effects u described) and if my kpin use does ultimatly block the ambien expierance then i just write ambien off as another drug iv used up to much, and am now burnt out of.
