Alright, so my Dad has been getting a shitload or prescriptions, and I like to try each at least once. My Mom had told he got Ambien, and that if he ever sleep walks or acts crazy that I should walk him back to bed.

I had taken 2 pills (10mg each) and swallowed one. I sat on the couch for about 30 minutes, when I started to feel the effects of the pill, and decided to swallow my other one. It crept up to me like a DXM body high, or even a benzo body high. It took around another 20 minutes for the second pill to kick in, and that's when my night started to get really trippy. I was on xBox live before I had taken the pills, and told my friends if I start acting loopy to tell me to get off, but before that happened I guess I turned the xBox off and was back on the couch again, which I have no memory of doing. I looked at the TV and decided to go turn on the xBox again, but I never made it to the xBox. INstead I layed on my couch, feeling as if the world was revolving around me. One second dolls were riding on train tracks around by body, the next I was smoking weed with my buddy in Disneyland. This was not what I was expecting to happen with Ambien.
I got up from the couch, and headed over to the computer (From what I can remember) and fired up WoW. It took me about 5 minutes to log in, seeing as the keyboard was waving and melting on my fingertips.
I think I told my friend that I'm on Ambien 20mg, and I have no idea what's going on, and then just logged. After that, I'm pretty sure I layed down on the couch again, and tripped out a bit more.
I wasn't tired yet, but I grew bored of myself and decided to go to sleep, because I knew I could with no problem. However, this was the "Bad trip" part of the night. With all the lights off, there were black silhouettes all over the room hovering over me. I turned on my Rave Light app on my iPod and scared them all away like Dementors. The rest of the night is a blur.
That drug truly is hallucinogenic. At least, it was for me. Myabe it's because it was my first time.
If I had done this during the day, I don't think I could have controlled myself around my parents, which is good to know for the future. If you're planning on taking this, I say start with 20mg and see what follows, and be careful.
