Harm Reduction Amazon now requiring perscriptions for online needle purchases

What's up guys. Amazon has been a very powerful resource for the iv drug user. It was a very convenient and easy way to get clean needles, if you weren't too lazy to order them like I was sometimes. They also sell fentanyl and xylazine test kits.

So 2025 new year Amazon came out with their new Amazon pharmacy program. They also implemented new state regulations and restrictions on hazardous materials. I didn't know people used Amazon like a pharmacy. But yeah basically In the US you have to some form of prescription, unless you order from one of the Chinese insuline syringe brands.

I actually order the Chinese ones they are ok you can't take the plunger out of syringe which is kinda lame and they feel cheap. I also ordered from total diabetes supplies and that worked out well too if you want regular brand insulin syringes like BD this would be the way to go.

It's really so dumb like why place restrictions at all? Jeff Bezos is going to lose millions on on these people not buying syringes and test kits from him.

It has been years so idk if their policy has changed or not, and can't find a clear answer in the faqs, but I didn't need a prescription when I used them. So I'll leave that for others to figure out.
