I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the cute spotty ones? People I have spoken to locally seem to think they are bad news but I would be interested to hear any first hand experiences.

there is a bunch of info on there about our little red and white speckled mushrooms... fly agaric they are also called... and personally I think you are much safer with psycilobe (sp?) as fly agaric can be lethal alot easier than psycilobe...

yeah, there is tons of info out there but what I'm really after is first hand reports from people who live in Aust. Some of the info I've read says the spotty ones are different in Aust, other info says they are all good so I don't know what to beleive. I have psilosibe cubensis and I know they are good but I am always open to new experiences. I hear the amanitas can be much more of a full on soul searching trip which is what I am after.
