am I the only one who liked snorting heroin better than IVing it?

I have always snorted heroin. The other day however I IV'd for the first time. Let alone the annoying process of setting up the shot and readying your vein and all that shit, the high was no where near as enjoyable. The only good thing is it hit me right away (I always hate that 15-20 min waiting period after snorting) and peaked very quickly. I can't explain why it felt different though. I felt like after the initial rush (which only lasted about a minute for me) the high was substantially weaker than snorting it(I used the same amount as when I snort it, which is about 3/4 of a bag at a time). I know I hit the vein and I know everything got into my system. Anyone else experience the same thing?

No, I think snorting it gets my high longer, the only thing I like about IVing it is the rush.

hmmm tricky question. i been doin dope for 4 years. i snorted it for one, then shot after that. i was recentlly arrested and am on my 3rd month of house arrest so have no habbit right now.

back when i had to snort 6 bags to get high and i switched to shooting, i like shooting a ton better. i can clean for a month back last august and started snorting at first untill i was up to 6 bags agian and loved shooting once again.

i have gotten dope 3 times since i was arrested. one time i only had a bag and no rig.

next time i had 2 bags. i snorted one and shot one. both were very nice.

on saturday i had 1 and a half and a rig. i just snorted them. was amazing.

i contemplated on shooting the half but i got so high off of that one, i new i would still get a not off the half.

the main reason though why i didnt shoot it is because all my good veins are collapsed. i could hit but and im sure it wouldnt be that hard but its still is more effort than snorting.

so to sum it up...
i love snorting when i have no or little tolerance cuz it lasts long time, i fucking LOVE the taste, and it is very easy, no fuckin around.

i love shooting cuz of the rush, seein the blood shoot back into the barrel, and when i have good easy to hit veins or if i have a high tolerance.

they are both grrrrrrrrreat!

also i didnt appreciate iv the first time i shot either, think it took a few shots to really see what it was all about.

I have never IV anything because I am afraid I will fuck up and like inject air or some and kill myself. Well also because IV is really only for people with a tolerance like someone has already said.

Never tried heroin & dont know if I ever will but if I do, I wont be using the needle. I hate needles & could never understand why people use them no matter how good the rush & high feel.

I started using needles because my tolerance is up and if I use another route I will only get 50% out of it at best and that equals more being sick when I'm going thru twice as much just to get high. Plus the rush is nice and added bonus along with saving money

Even when i was at my worst on dope, IVing 6 or 7 at a time, id still snort bags occasionally. And depending on the dope i usually snorted 3 at the most. I switched back and forth alot. Everyone else in the car would look at me like i was stupid. but meh.
