I smoke j's, one-hitters, a bubbler, and bowls, but I have a question about my bowl-packing technique.
usually i just put a nice nug or a piece of a nug in the bowl and don't smoosh it into the bowl, i leave it in there kinda loose. i hold the fire up to the bowl, cover the carb, and pull. the nug smolders and starts to burn and i inhale. then i release the carb and keep pulling until i am satisfied with the size of my hit.
now here is my question: sometimes I feel like I have to turn the nug over to get the un-burned part right side up so the flame can catch it on subsequent hits. otherwise sometimes i feel like i burn the nug out and all the untouched herb is on the bottom.
is this flipping the nug technique right or am i doing something wrong? should i be able to burn thru a whole nug without flipping it over?
