Well my names $#\|* and I might have a drinking problem lol. I never really thought of my drinking as a problem untill I noticed that I could drink more then 40yr old men around me. the other night I went out and pregamed with 6 beers in the vehicle on the way there which was about a 30 min drive then at the club I bought about 5 shots. Then 30 min later I bought 15 more shots and a four hourseman (four shots mixed as one shot). I was at the club only for about three hours. Then I drank probably 4 beers afterwards at the afterparty. I never throw up so i didnt that night or any other night ive drank. I also noticed that I can't really get drunk off beer if I drink at a comfortable pace because I drank 10 in 3 hours and only feel a mild buzz, Not even close to being impaired to do simple tasks. So my question is how bad is this for my health

Pretty bad. Alcohol is highly toxic to the kidneys, liver, and brain besides a plethora of other health risks.

Pretty bad I may say. I used to be an alcoholic and suffered some stomach problems. You may not experience the effects now but it'll catch up to you later. You seem to have a drinking problem so I would suggest to get help with this.

Alcohol strips the stomach of its lining every time you ingest it. Beer is less offensive because it's not a refined ferment, but liquor is harmful.

Frequent high dosing of alcohol strips the liver of its vital nutrition as it has to use it all as part of it metabolic activity to purge the toxin from the body. As the liver tissues become exhausted and depleted and they can no longer withstand the alcohol content, the liver begins to scar. Long term damage leads to liver cirrhosis. This kind of liver damage has many complications. Because the liver manufactures special proteins that keep fluid in the blood vessels, liver damage means that you can develop ascitis which is where fluid leaks from the liver and other blood vessels into the abdominal cavity. Click here to find out more about what an impaired liver can do to the body. The list is extensive because the liver is an important organ that fulfills many functions.

Some people with drinking problems claim that they balance this out with proper diet, but alcohol causes inflammation of the entire digestive system which inhibits absorption of nutrients; as does acetylaldehyde, which is the byproduct alcohol gets broken down into by the body. It also dehydrates the body.

Then there's what alcohol does to the GABA system in the brain. Heavy and frequent alcohol use causes harm to neural tissues.

In short... heavy alcohol use is a toxic activity that can lead to irreparable harm.

Depends really, on how often you binge. If this is an everyday thing, then its probably a good idea to slow it down a bit, my wife's uncle just died last month, because he had a habit of drinking rum and popping Vicodin. He was older mind you and overweight, and only in his 60s. I was a alcoholic, i used to drink a liter of whiskey a day, no bullshit. It almost killed me. First post btw. :D
